Racing Competitively Since 1987
Jeff has been a USA Cycling category 2 elite level racer since 1991. He has participated in national and international pro-am races in the Northeastern United States, California, and Canada.
Jeff currently rides for the Riverside Racing Team, sponsored by Riverside Cycle of Newburyport and Haverhill, Massachusetts.
Accomplishments include:
- 1993 New England Criterium Championships – 1st, pro 1/2/3
- 1994 New England Time Trial Championships – 1st, pro 1/2/3
- 1995 New Hampshire Road Race Championships – 3d, pro 1/2/3
- 1995 New England Track Championships, 30 km Points Race – 3d, senior men 1/2/3
- 2003 New Hampshire Road Race Championships – 2d, masters 35+
- 2004 New Hampshire Road Race Championships – 3d, masters 35+
Team Development
Boston Scientific Cycling
Co-founder / Rider / Team Manager / Coach – Marlborough, Massachusetts, 2003 to 2008.
Recruited riders, coordinated sponsorship, created press releases, managed the team website, coordinated the teams’ race schedules, and coached riders. During its 5-year run, Boston Scientific Cycling was consistently one of the top-ranked amateur cycling teams in the Northeast. In 2005, the elite men’s team earned invitations to both the FDB Insurance RAS – Tour of Ireland and the Tour of Bermuda. The organization had 4 teams: elite men, elite women, masters, and developmental.
Directeur Sportif – In 2005, Jeff was directeur sportif for the Boston Scientific team at the FDB Insurance RAS Tour of Ireland, a UCI sanctioned, 10-day international pro-am stage race.
Eurotek Cycling
Co-founder / Rider / Team Manager / Coach – Glocester, Rhode Island, 1991 to 2002.
An elite amateur cycling team founded with the purpose of developing new cycling talent, fostering sportsmanship, and promoting the sport of cycling. By 1995, Eurotek Cycling had evolved into one of the top-ranked amateur cycling teams in New England.
