Jeff has been coaching cyclists of all levels for over for 25 years. When working with a cyclist, Jeff takes into account every aspect of their fitness, individual strengths, and their lifestyle. Athlete’s of all levels respond to his personalized training.

Riverside Cycling

U23 Cycling Coach
Newburyport, MA, Since 2012 – Coach and mentor to junior team riders, ages 13–23, in the disciplines or road, cyclocross, and mountain biking. Coaching includes all aspects of cycling and endurance training—from nutrition to periodization—including off-season weight training, race scheduling, training rides, skills practice, race tactics, and team cycling. Many of our juniors have made it to the elite level of the sport.

Phillips Exeter Academy

Varsity Cycling Team Coach
Exeter NH, 2019, 2022, 2023 – In 2019 Jeff coached and managed Phillips Exeter’s 17-rider boys and girls cycling team for the 2019 season. Coaching included team development, skills, race strategy, tactics, and weekly training plans. The team worked incredibly hard and showed such improvement from week to week that they sat in first place for virtually the entire season, taking the New England Road Cycling League Championship on the final day. The margins were so tight that every single rider contributed to the win. It was a phenomenal season.

Eastern Junior Cycling Development Advisory Council

Regional Coordinator for the State of New Hampshire
Westport MA, 2008 to 2014 – A regional council led by Marka Wise, representing Maine to Virginia with the goal of growing and improving the sport of junior cycling in the eastern United States. Advisors to the council included Mike Fraysse and Eddie Borysewicz.

New England Cycling Support Association (NECSA)

U23 Cycling Coach
Westport MA, 1994 to 2014 – Coached and mentored New England based cyclists ages 13–23. Guest Coach
Fort Devens MA, April 1995 and April 1996 – Guest Coach for a cycling training camp for women organized by renowned New England race announcer Dick Ring. Worked directly with participants on specific cycling skills, discussed race tactics during the indoor sessions, and led group training rides.
